Tip 1. Basic Restore Your iPhone

If your iPhone screen goes black after updating to iOS 9 or iOS 10, maybe you can fix it by a simple restoration. It is done by holding the power button of the phone for a few seconds. By doing this, you may see the Apple logo appear on the screen, which means that the problem is solved and you can re-use your phone in seconds.

Tip 2. Force Restarting Your Device

When the screen of iPhone goes black, you may need to attempt a hard reset of software and hardware. To do this, just press the “home” button and the “sleep” button at the same time. If this works, a red slider appears at the bottom of the screen and you can turn your iPhone sliding the button to the right. In the process, hold tight the “home” button next to the “sleep” button for 10 seconds to reset the phone.
